Dublin's U2 HQ.. on portra film, too.

I always bring and shoot film on my travels.. because only film can capture the light in magical places. These photos are a bit bright, maybe cuz its iso 400, maybe because i was a little unsure of the settings on my camera and the battery was a bit tired i think. I wasnt prepared for sun in Dublin -thats why i shot 400 film. But i think they look good bright rather than darker. so win win!

Dublin on portra film... with sunshine!

HIM played here in 2004. yeah. just imagine the sacrament in that gorgeous theatre. yeah exactly.
jedward fans starting to gather...

um... yes please.

"Tears on Tape’ is going to be really organic, straight-in-your-face, super melancholy bulls— [Laughs]. It’s going to be something nobody’s heard before. I’m really happy about it. It sounds great. Remember the soundtrack for ‘Twin Peaks’ that Angelo Badalamenti did? It’s got that similar forlorn, melancholy quality but mixed up with Motörhead. That’s where we’re at! We’re really happy. It’s got that dreamlike quality. It’s like Roy Orbison meeting Metallica."

*the above are some doodles i did this past weekend

long play around here.

There's a music store in town that sell some vinyl and i've been there only twice -both of those times i've found my FAVORITE Depeche Mode LP's for only a few money. those days are my favorite shopping days, because favorite LP's don't grow on trees. do you have a favorite LP or what would it be? Razorblade Romance for me. obviously. I'm also very happy about the fact that my other favorite bands are starting to give out vinyl. like HIM and hanson. i've been wishing and hoping for that. I like music in this format. it can only be or not be. like life.

a living legend.

{L}ast thursday night, me and a few friends from work went to see this man perform.
it was exactly 10 years ago in this city, i last saw this man live in concert,
performing my favorite album of his.
His indoor concert yesterday, was so impressive.
visuals and sounds with his special voice.
i've never experienced a concert the way i did there,
it was magnetic, magical and beautiful.
i have no other words to describe it.
what a gift for us fans.
we love thåström.
if other artists are stars, he is a rare supernova.
he has been performing since the 70's and is STILL amazing
but that's because he is a real rockstar!

the pics above and the live song below are from the documentary "thåström, way out west" that aired on january 7 on SVT2, can still be seen on svtplay.se. It was a really good documentary, and even better so.. joakim thåström will be performing in my town in a few months. a concert not to miss. h-a-p-p-i-n-e-s-s. it will be exactly 10 years since i last saw him perform-and in my town again! his new cd/LP is out next month and i'm excited.

HANSON HANSON HANSON!

After 7 years of waiting to see them again(!), on tuesday we queued for 10 hours on their Shout It Out world tour. THAT'S how we got taylor just a few meters right in front of us at the concert. camp sweden.

They played lots of songs from each albums and i kind of died when they did the songs from middle of nowhere, which is my favorite... mmmbop, where's the love and a minute without you, it was such a surreal feeling, hearing those songs, feeling 11 years old again but seeing them older singing. i'm so grateful! stardust was all around! it was amazing. the fans we hung out with that day were awesome too. can't wait for more concerts now!

we love hanson.
