i love how most houses in Norway are painted white, inside and out.. here old fishermen houses and old small church in Stavanger.. so sweet!!

My sweet sister visited me a few weeks ago and helped me moving flats. on our free day off, it was raining, so a great time to go looking at some architecture by the waterfront we thought! cuz we are not made of sugar.. we are nordic warriors.

if i have to name one thing i like about this place.. it is the big old wood houses.. they are my favorite types of houses... so gorgeous.. and they are everywhere. safe to say im happy walking to work looking at them all everyday..

some family came to see me for a week this May... we had puzzles and walked to preikestolen...man that was a scary place..! but the view was amazing!

The town of stavanger doesnt have snow... but i can see snow on far away mountain tops...so all is good! and there are gingerbreads and swedish glögg in norway, so all is good, too! i have only decorated my apartment with clementines, because im going to sweden over the holidays, so no point. Ive bought norwegian wool called "viking" to make wrist warmers for when i work.

the museum in stavanger is great, for the following reasons...

skeleton! and a very astrid lindgren house look. which is my absolute favorite. love it.
