midsummer instax's.

Midsummer was rain and thunder, i made waffles in my mom's yellow vintage waffle iron -and ate outside even though it could rain. stina and i stayed up late baking and watched movies in the midnight sun about skiing in the alps (what else to do in the summer?!). stina did most of the baking though (see instax above). we bought lots and lots of sweet watermelons for only 2 kr/kg. i carried a 5 kg watermelon home in my arms. i have to thank lady M above for my arm muscles! I'm embracing this summer.

beach 2011.

a little sandy beach, 15 minutes from town, is quite the luxury. but gah.. the heat.. +30 C is too much for me when i'm not used to it. in the shade under the beach parasoll i could live today though. summer sun is a little hard for a pale girl like me. it's really annoying being this white this time of year. here are two instax's we took.

stockholm.

I spent 4 hours in stockholm yesterday. the weather is full metal summer now, but the cold windy little alleys in the old town with cafés in every streetcorner was a nice escape. the rest of stockholm is stressful, the old town is my favorite part, it's in the middle of the city. i always end up there. it is just as cosy in the winter.

concert pics..

while i was scanning a few festival photos, in my pile of photos i came across these beautiful two of a thåström concert i was at back in 2002. great concert. it was cold, dark and raw! it was a big deal to me to see thåström in concert in my hometown. he is a swedish rocklegend.
i was very good at documenting with 135 film in my teens. the camera was my first, a simple Premier 35 mini M-355. i will post another camera guide soon with my non-toy cameras.

since i was a kid i've been told about my mom's trips to the land of "kalifornien" where skies are blue and the roads are long. i knew i had to go sometime, and i love it.

another one!

i might do the rest of the notebook with drawings like these of ville... i think there is about 25 sheets left. that would be a nice project to do and have. i haven't drawn properly in well, years... so these are not what they could have been lol. i have no patience.. so i rarely finish drawings completely, but i try..!

tiredness won over me. i don't think i'll finish it, and it is kinda ugly. sorry it's dark but it was night time!

it's been a loooong time since i've wanted to draw anything.. (even though i love it)

paintings are a little easier for me somehow, the last painting i did was of razorblade romance, perhaps i'll show the whole thing here sometime.. when i've finished it.

i just very much enjoy HIM.
