I was tagged today with a My Favourite Things of 2012 tag from sweet Rhianne, over at fortheeasilydistracted.com. She's one of my favorite bloggers, so i'm very happy i was chosen! I like these questions too because they really suit my 2012..! ok here goes..
- Favourite Makeup – I went on what felt like a crazy shopping spree and got lots of Maybelline lipsticks in america. they are my favorites. I ended up using "Feel pink" most of the time, i really like that one on me, it's a good every-day lipstick and that's the one i always have in my purse.
- Favourite Book – Definitely Bram Stoker's "Dracula" i read during the summer. I also started on "the vampire Lestat" by Anne Rice, and oh my, that one is beautiful too.. i don't want it to end!
- Favourite Album – Lana Del Rey's "paradise edition" and Julee Cruise's "falling into the night". great stuff.
- One thing that I’m grateful for – my life and the people in it.
- Greatest Challenge – the transition from being a horse-person to a person without horses.
- What are you looking forward to in 2013? – finishing my Master's degree is a big one!
For My Favourite Things of 2012, I tag anyone who reads my blog! leave a comment to let me know!
Ohhh I love vampire books, but I've never read any Anne Rice (which I realise is wrong considering that I love the genre lol) I think I might add LeStat to my reading list.
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved Laa Del Ray's album too, great answers :)
Anne Rice is amazing, she is soo good at describing the vampire world..read it! She's definitely the best. :) and it's funny to read "Lestat" because all i see is Tom Cruise haha!
ReplyDeleteI saw Queen of the Damned first (I know, I'm doing it all wrong) so I think of Stuart Townsend but I did prefer Tom Cruise as him to be honest, that was a great film!
ReplyDeleteHave you read any of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton? I'm always a little wary of recommending them as they are very explicit in some topics, but if you like vampires then I think you'll like those. (they are nothing like Twilight haha)
I must see Queen of the damned again as i dont remember much of it. Yes i was so impressed with Tom playing Lestat! that's my favorite film with him, and i was also impressed with Antonio's portrayal of Armand so i'm looking forward to reading that book too!
ReplyDeleteno i haven't, i will check it out once i'm done reading the Rice series. mm yes, i think i'm too old for twilight!
