moonia and the dianaf+, summer to autumn,

hugging.i'm so happy to get these
precious moments on film.

film: kodak portra 160VCi got 11 of 12 photos back on this filmroll.
that's a good roll.
so far, the dianaf+ has been a much more stable camera than
my holga120fn. that holga has much more tricks up its sleeve!
those two cameras definitely has different personalities!
i bought a 5 pack of this "professional" film, it was the only one i
could find at the time, so i'm stuck with it for a long time.
but i like it. the colors are vivid.
the most important thing to me though,
is what is on the film... !

Moonia, by holga
{I} got all 12 photos back from my holga roll! that doesnt happen often! so gold star for my holga. half the roll was really good, and the rest were the typical holga goes mad! as can be seen on the mountain photos. but holga is holga, and it does whatever it wants. out of this roll, this first pic below is my favorite. film: kodak portra 160VC

Mt. Åreskutan, Jämtland
{I} do this every year, take the cable car up and then i walk down. i brought my robust Holga 120fn with me. the 4,5 km down to the village takes approx. 2-2,5 hours to walk, but it took stina and i 2 hours to walk 1,5 km.... embarrasing, but the view was so stunning, we were looking at all directions at the same time. and it was cold, so we were sitting on rocks like two miserable little hobbits in our own middle earth sipping on the few drops of warm coffee we had with us. but. we still loved it! we love the mountains. stina is in the pictures. we love landscapes.

jämtland in the summer.

probably my favorite place in sweden..
the republic of jämtland is in the west, by the norwegian border.
i love the scandinavian fells and the old woods.
i went hiking on the fell, helped my dad build a log cabin and visited ancient monuments such as grave mounds, an important iron age hill fort, earliest stone churches (11th century), elk trappings and stone age rock carvings. (see my archaeology archives ).
polaroids here from last summer.
